Now what would provoke me enough to write again...

nothing but the sheer blessing of God that I've experienced this last week. At first, we had two wonderful evenings of meetings with Tony, Matthew and Chris. And then, four wonderful days of fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and men of God..i truly understood the power of covenant and covenant friendships during this last week when I met my great friend and brother Chris on his visit to India.
It was such a great time of refreshing and rejuvenation, it simply blew me away!! I am glad that God joins us to people even when they are so far away from us, probably only in terms of distance, definitely not in the Spirit. It is so comforting and at the same time awe-inspiring to think that all of us in Christ, oblivious of where we are, have all been doused into the mighty living waters to become one in Him.

Something I stumbled upon...

These are words of Sabina Wurmbrand from her book The Pastor's Wife. I think they are terrific.

Richard is aware of the danger. And every danger of which you are aware ceases to be a real danger.

After a lonnngg break..

Its almost been two and a half months since I posted anything on this blog but loads of things happened otherwise.
The biggest event, my sister, Esther got married and has gone to Scotland with her husband, Sanjiv. She is enjoying the beautiful summer weather right now and mouthing ferrero rochers all day and gloating about it to me over the internet!!
I have to teach Covenant this time round at the Bible college along with Worldviews and English which will be great fun. I still remember how Bryan Shutt had made us all fall in love with it and ofcourse, the mighty hesed of God. I am really excited about it and if any of you have strayed upon my blog, do pray for me that I am able to do justice to it.
My second year at MA is still in mid-air because Part-I results are not out yet but they will be out soon by the looks of things.
So, there you are, now you have the main updates of things on my side.
I hope I am back here, composing another post soon.

my sis is getting married...

...on the 7th of April and its crazy last weeks going on in the countdown. The wedding gown is almost on the way but i have still not figured out what to wear. Anyway, just thought this was a good update.
One li'l word to chew upon. God spoke to me lately and told me that as the people of the kingdom we were destined to turn "promises into reality". That was pretty amazing.
Alrite then...mum's calling.

Who will save me?

Once upon a time Paul cried out that who would save him from "this body of death". These days I can say I am right there with you Paul, actually its quite good to have a comrade in the turbulence and yet sometimes it feels so alone so hard while all the while Satan keeps blaring in your ears of how incompetent you have proved, how slack you've gotten but, thank God,Paul after voicing his cry immediately follows up by saying "Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

And well indeed, thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, whose mercies are new everyday and who is a strong unshakeable rock on whom we stand. When we are in Him, nothing can break us, let alone the weazel-like attempts of Satan. Indeed we can surely say,

For we are not among those who shrink back and so are lost but among those who stand and so are saved. Hebrews 10:39

Praise God!!

One cannot begin it too soon.

I came across this poem by Samuel Butler Yeats a few days ago and surely one can say he has nailed it in this one.
BROWN PENNY
I whispered, 'I am too young,'
And then, 'I am old enough';
Wherefore I threw a penny
To find out if I might love.
'Go and love, go and love, young man,
If the lady be young and fair.'
Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny,
I am looped in the loops of her hair.
O love is the crooked thing,
There is nobody wise enough
To find out all that is in it,
For he would be thinking of love
Till the stars had run away
And the shadows eaten the moon.
Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny,
One cannot begin it too soon.
